What is Tripeaks Solitaire?

Tripeaks Solitaire is a popular variation of the classic Solitaire Klondike game. Unlike the traditional version, the cards are arranged in three overlapping pyramids or peaks. Your main goal is simple: move all cards from the peaks to the waste pile. It combines elements of Golf and Pyramid Solitaire, making it much faster and more engaging than
standard Klondike.

How to Play

The rules are straightforward, but the strategy is deep. You start with a waste pile at the bottom and three peaks of cards above it. Most cards are face down, and only the bottom row is revealed. You can only pick a card from the peaks if it is exactly one value higher or one value lower than the card currently on the waste pile. If you have a 7 on the waste pile, you can click an 8 or a 6 from the peaks.

  • The Loop: Aces are special. You can place a King or a 2 on an Ace.
  • The Stock: If you run out of moves, click the face-down deck to draw a new card.
  • Controls: Simply use your Mouse Left-Click or Tap (on mobile) to select cards.

Best Tips to Win

After playing hundreds of rounds, I noticed that beginners often click cards too fast. Don't do that. Always look at the peaks first. Try to reveal face-down cards as quickly as possible. If you have two choices, pick the card that unblocks more cards underneath it. This opening up strategy is the key to winning consistently without relying on the stock deck.

It is satisfying. Clearing a long sequence of cards feels like a massive win. If you enjoy this type of logic challenge, you might also want to check out other Card Games. For a different vibe, try the underwater puzzles in Mahjoctopus or the classic multiplayer fun of Uno Online.
